REQUIREMENTS

Participants must complete an AMG on Track or on Ice Experience PERFORMANCE training. Participants must be 21 years of age or older and possess a current, valid driver’s license.

DRIVE MODULES

DRIFTING TECHNIQUE

Revive your dormant skills in this fast paced and challenging course designed to prepare you for the days to come. Focus on the skills needed to initiate, maintain, link, and finish the perfectly executed drift on ice.

ADVANCED SLALOM

Experience the grip levels of studded tires on ice as you navigate through a series of coned “gates” with the goal of seamlessly linking each direction change with the perfect drift angle.

CORNERING TECHNIQUE 1 & 2

Utilizing multiple areas on track, we set up dedicated advanced car control exercises that highlight skills typically found in Rally Racing. By learning and practicing techniques such as the Scandinavian flick, you will boost your confidence and elevate your skill level.

SECTOR TRAINING

Feel the excitement of sector training on the 1.10-mile ice track in normal course direction and reverse! This track is split into two sections, each with a variety of corner types, challenging you to master each sector. Later, bring it all together in open lapping sessions, seamlessly connecting the entire course.

FULL TRACK LAPPING

Level up your confidence from sector training and conquer the full course during dedicated open lapping sessions! Master multiple vehicles under the guidance of our expert instructors. Start with sight-in laps to build familiarity, then unleash your skills on the open track.

DYNAMIC AREA

A specialized skid pad where a series of technique-driven challenges await. Through practice and repetition, you will perfect your timing and the art of initiating, maintaining, and linking drifts seamlessly.

GYMKHANA COURSE

The Dynamic Area holds another challenge: the Gymkhana course. This is where you'll put your artistry to the test. Tight turns, demanding cones, and the constant desire of oversteer – all conspire to push your limits and extract every ounce of skill you've acquired.

TRACK ATTACK

Culminate your journey with a heart-pounding competition and give it your all to impress our AMG-certified judges! Blaze through corners, a G63 hot on your heels, as they dissect your drifting mastery and stylistic flair. Every apex, every slide, every (perhaps involuntary) unwanted tow will be meticulously ranked, your prowess lauded on the podium.

HOT LAPS

The AMG tradition beckons, offering you the ultimate experience of riding with one of our pro drivers on a high-speed lap showcasing the fine art of speed and precision. This is the final touch of adrenaline to your unforgettable day.

TRANSPORTATION &
ACCOMODATIONS

We are delighted to recommend preferred hotel options, which attendees should book on their own. Please note that hotel accommodation is not included in the course fees.

For those arriving by air, the nearest airport is Gunnison Regional Airport in Crested Butte, just a short 30-minute drive away. You’ll find flight options with United Airlines and American Airlines. Alternatively, if you prefer, Montrose Regional Airport in Montrose, Colorado, is another viable choice, located approximately an hour’s drive away, offering flights with United Airlines, American Airlines, Delta Airlines, and Southwest Airlines. Please note that airport transfers are not provided.

Rest assured, all transportation to and from the ice tracks is seamlessly covered by our shuttle departing from the host hotel in Crested Butte. We do recommend that guests who are not driving consider joining the excitement behind the wheel rather than just spectating, as non-driving guests may have limited viewing opportunities. We believe that the thrill of driving is an experience best shared firsthand.
